Notarisation
Our directors, Alister Argyle and Paul Gooby are notary public.
When enquiring about Notarial Services please note that we will need to view copies of the following documents before we can fully assess what is required:
– The documents that require certification by Mr Argyle or Mr Gooby
– Your Passport;
– Your Driver Licence (front and back); and
– A letter from either a Government Agency, a Rates Notice or Bank Statement (the financial details can be deleted) showing your current residential address.
You will be required to bring the originals of these documents when you meet with Mr Argyle or Mr Gooby.
In this role as a Lawyer in New Zealand Mr Argyle is authorised by the Archbishop of Canterbury to officially witness signatures on overseas legal documents, to take sworn statements, administer oaths and certify the authenticity of documents for overseas use.
Please also be aware that in some cases, documents once notarised will need to be sent to the Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington for an authentication or apostille. We are able to assist with this application, however, you will need to inform us if an apostille or authentication is required.
Once we have received and reviewed the material we can arrange a time to meet with you and complete the documentation.
